Show your support for lone soldiers serving in the IDF. You can help provide Shabbat meals or holiday meals through lone soldier centers in Israel that offer a home-away-from-home for these soldiers, who do not have family support in Israel. You can also provide them with knitted hats to keep them warm during cold nights on duty.

Donations to The Lone Soldier Project of the East Valley JCC are passed through to our three Lone Soldier Center partners in Israel. Previous donations were primarily to provide meals for Shabbat and holiday observances (see below). Emergency funds will be dedciated to supporting all the necessary services that meet the accentuated needs of these courageous and dedicated young people from Israel and around the world.
Want to learn more about Lone Soldiers? We’ll come to your group with a multimedia presentation that discusses the Lone Soldier experience in their words. Presentations are available for all ages, from school-age through seniors.
